Disneyland 2025

 We needed a family trip this year. Last year was super fun celebrating the holidays in Disneyland that we decided to do it again. 

We left on a flight early on the 21st and went straight into the park once we got there. We stayed at a hotel that was right across the street from the park this time and it was super convenient. It was also our first time not having a stroller and I was a little hesitant to see how that went, but we utilized having a locker inside the park to hold our water bottles and coats. 

We ran into our neighbors the Day's while there. 

We knew it was going to be rainy on a couple of the days while there and so we came with our ponchos. While it started to rain we decided to get them on and go ride Tiana's Buyou since we knew the line would be short. We actually had shoe coverings as well. We DID NOT get wet on the ride, but Parker caught the water in his lap. We all had a good laugh at how wet he could have been. 

I noticed that a lot of our pictures are with food and it's because we all have our favorite treats while there. Dad hadn't gotten a turkey leg in a while so that had to be documented. 

Found some more bookstore friends while there. 

We didn't have plans on Christmas Eve except to fly home at 9:00 that night. It was raining SO SO much that day. We were so glad we weren't in the park that day. They ended up closing the park early because there was so much water. We did a character dinner inside the California hotel. The lobby definitely made us want to stay there. The character dinner was kind of a flop. The food was not very good at all and the characters had a hard time coming to our table. But we all really did try to make the best of it. We chanted the characters names when they were close by and would cheer when they came to our table. It was fun to see the Christmas carol characters. 

The gingerbread creation was incredible. 

The airport was completely dead when we got there. Thankfully our plane was on time and we got home at 11:00 pm in time to get our pajamas on and wait for Santa to come.
