Parker is 11

 Parker Miles, 

11 years ago you came into the world. I didn't know at the time how much our family needed you. You are the one that held me together and gave me such joy when my parents were going through their divorce. Your calming presence has been felt from the moment you were born and you still have the effect on people. You are one that is very in tune with your emotions and also those emotions of those around you. Your brain amazes me. You are so stinking smart and you are that way because you want to be. You value education and learning. I hope you continue to have the value. 

You love any type of pasta. You love steak, mashed potatoes, pizza, breadsticks, and zupas. You really have a passion for basketball and you can not wait for the season to start. You love to play video games, and that is how you like to be social. You are always full of knowledge and know all these random facts that no one else in our family knows. 

This year for your birthday you wanted nerf guns, gift cards to your favorite video games, and also MRE's. Uncle Taylor was able to find those for you. I have no idea where you learned about those, but now you can say you have tried it! For you birthday dinner you wanted mashed potatoes, steak, and pasta salad. You also got a voucher for Jazz tickets so you can go watch a basketball game. 

Parker, we are so glad you are in our family. We love you lots and lots!
