September started off so HOT! You seriously would have thought we were still in July.
Labor Day always kicks off September. The Massey Family reunion is always over that weekend. We took the camper out to Vernal since we haven't done much camping this year. It was fun to see the Caldwell's and see some of my other cousins that I haven't seen in a while. Avery was able to come up for the first time and she had fun playing in the dirt with the other kids too.
Ty was asked to help with our stake primary activity. He was Moses! I think he pulled it off really well!
Addi had her first 8th grade volleyball game. They played well. It is definitely not the same as playing club. It is interesting to watch Addi and see how she handles herself in different situations where she isn't always winning. She gets frustrated, but for the most part she handles her self well and tries to pick up her teammates when they are down.
This little kindergarten crew is the cutest. Their birthdays are all within a week and a half of each other. They live in our ward and us moms were all pregnant at the same time. They are all in the same kindergarten class this year. Each Friday we take turns at who's house they get to go play at. We have Lyn, Jonas, Owen, and Ollie!
We tried the tortilla challenge. We laughed and laughed. It is when you put water in your mouth, hold it there, and then play Rock Paper Scissors. Who ever wins gets to slap the looser with the tortilla. Whoever spits out their water first is the loser. So so funny!
I think I will always be the one that takes pictures of my kids sleeping. I think it is the cutest thing.
On the 20th we were able to take our family and the entire Collett family to the Bee's game in Salt Lake. We had the suite and it was so fun to eat food in there and watch the game. It was on a school night so we didn't end up staying the entire time. It was such a beautiful night for a ball game!
On the 22nd we went to one of our Young Women's last soccer games since she is a senior. It was fun!
Emmy and I went on the 23rd to the Spanish Fork High School's football game. It was homecoming and another one of my Young Women was preforming at half time. It was fun to go to that with Emmy while the rest of the family went up to Salt Lake and watched wrestling.
We had yet to make it to the driving range this year. One a free Saturday we went up and hit some golf balls. All the kids can hit farther than me. I am not a golfer. They take after their grandpa jensen and dad on that skill!
On the 30th the kids had a fun run at school. Each grade took turns running around the grass area at their school. Lyndin did 2 laps, Emmy did 7 laps, and Parker did 6. Lyn and some of her friends went with us to cheer on Emmy and Parker. We had to bring our pompoms of course!
Later that same night we went on a date with the Collett's. The boys had gone on side by side ride earlier in the month and they wanted to take their wives up. Amberly and I aren't much into riding, but we did it for them. The views were beautiful and the weather was great! Fall is right around the corner.
