Christmas

Oh christmas!! How fun you are and what joy you bring us.

The kids woke up Christmas Eve to new Christmas pj's from our elf Rosie. They were all super antsy to get to bed so that they could open up presents the next day.

Addi and Parker woke up about 4 in the morning and told them that it was way too early. They said but we can't go back to sleep. We told them to watch a movie in Addi's room and so they did that until about 6:00. We woke up the little girls and headed down to see if Santa had came. First stop was looking at our stockings that he filled.

Then mom went downstairs to make sure he left some presents for them. Addi got a phone/ that works as a touch because the phone part isn't activated. Parker got a iPad mini. Emmy got a new bike and Lyndin got a vampirina castle and some Addams family dolls.

Other presents they got were a Nintendo switch, clothes, coloring books, barbies, frozen dolls, and laser guns. Dad got tickets to a concert, to a comedy show, and movie tickets for a year. Mom got a heated jacket, a new makeup mirror, and thermos.

The switch is super fun to play and we have gotten almost everyone to try it. Even the little girls love to dance a lot to just dance.

Grandma came over that morning with her presents and sat around and played with us.

Nana, grandpa, jess, mike, amber and taylor all came down and we got Grandpa to try dancing.

We had some snow Christmas morning and so Emmy wasn't able to ride her bike until the 26th. She is quite the pro already.

Grandma Debbie came out on 27th and we got her to play just dance as well.

We are a very blessed family and that we were able to spend Christmas together. We talked about why we have Christmas on Christmas Eve and the kids understand that we are celebrating Jesus' birth. His birth is one that was unlike any other. I told Ty that night that I wish the feeling of service and love  for others would stay strong all year long like it does during December. Jesus is the reason for the season.
