September

We started the month off by going to Vernal for the Massey Reunion for labor day. The kids had fun playing with all the other kids. They had super fun hitting the piƱata.

We didn't make to Vernal a lot this summer, and because of that we hadn't gotten our annual snow cone at the snow shake. Thankfully they were still open over labor day!

Lyn loves to put on shoes, doesn't matter if they are dads or not.

Grandpa Larry's dog had some new puppy's and we were loving on them for a little bit.

Tuesday nights have been at the ball field watching Addi. Her confidence as really grown in the year she has been playing with HitSquad. It is fun seeing her excel so well at something.

On the 4th we went to the Elton John concert. I had bought these tickets last November. He put on a great show and it was amazing to see the legend he is at 72 years old and what his career has gone through. It was probably one of the better concerts we have been too even if we didn't know all of his songs.

Lyndin has been loving make up for a long time now. She always wants to get into mine. I tried going to the dollar store to get some for her, but that wasn't good enough. I happened to see this little set on Amazon and I knew that I had found a prize. It looks totally real, but it is fake! She carried it around with her for 2 solid weeks. It even went to bed with her. I had to get her a replacement set, because it was starting to get well loved already and some of the pieces got lost at church.

We had two tournaments for Hitsquad in two weeks. Which never happens. One was in Delta which we ended up taking 2nd place, and the other one was in South Jordan and we took 4th. The girls have improved so much over the year and it's fun to see them placing at tournaments.

Addi loves to mow the lawn to earn money. I loved just sitting outside and watching her do it.

Ms. Nuttall was Addi's 3rd grade teacher and Addi absolutely loves her. She has been asking her to come to one of her games for the past year.  Ms. Nuttall finally was able to make it to one and all of these girls have been her students. The two teams were actually playing against one another. They all were so excited to see her.

Emmy caught this picture of Grandma Shelly. And on the far left is a picture of Grandma Debbie placing at a bowling tournament when she was younger.

Another picture of this girl and her makeup.

Emmy did another little dance clinic and was able to preform at a football game on Parker's birthday. She thought that was pretty neat. We of course all came to support her. Lyn loved playing on the bleachers.

In the fall we love to walk home from school on Fridays.

Parker is playing fall soccer and it's fun to see him playing and getting more confidence with it.

At the ball park with vanity and makeup. Whatever it takes to keep them entertained.

Emmy has loved building little toy forts around her. She asked me in both of these pictures on different days to take her picture. She is such a ham.

These two have found the movie Frozen. They love playing elsa and anna. When I saw these dresses online I knew I had to get them for them. They wear them all the time now. Lyndin will say to me.. I'm anna!

Now that Parker is 8 he is able to go to scouts. Scouts is actually going to be replaced with something else come the first of the year by the church. It will interesting to see what it is. He was able to do the pinewood derby this year. Ty was on his four wheeling trip with his dad but before he left they got his car finished. He didn't end up winning any of his races, but he still had fun and we had fun cheering him on.

When the county fair came into town this summer we told the kids that instead we would take them to Lagoon sometime before it got too cold. We finally made it up there on the 21st and stayed the night in SLC. Lyndin did not have fun on any of the rides, and was not a fan. You would ask her once she got off if she had fun and she would tell you NO! NOT FUN! Everyone else seemed have fun though. Grandma Shelly ended up getting the stomach bug the rest of us had had earlier in the week while we were there. She ended up going home early on Sunday. On Sunday we went to temple square and then over to the kids museum to let them play for a bit. It was a fun little family trip. The kids love staying at little america and so do we.

On Parker's birthday we went to take him lunch. Emmy got on her own shoes. As we got into the car she says mom don't you love my two toned shoes?

Addi started her first year of volleyball. Here in Spanish fork you have to be in 5th grade before you can play in rec league. She has dibbled in it a little bit, but I wasn't too worried about her playing except serving over hand. I shouldn't have worried. She is one of the best servers on her team. She serves from the back line and sometimes even hits it out of bounds because she hits too hard. She is very gifted when it comes to sports.

Emmy captured this picture. She grabbed my phone and said she wanted to take a picture of the pink sky. It is a really good pictures.

I like to send people videos of the kids singing happy birthday to them on their birthday. They all pick their own spots on the steps and then we do one take and they sing happy birthday. This was a song to grandpa larry.

On the 27th we had our yearly block party. The kids look forward to this and the splash bash every year. It is fun to sit out with everyone and enjoy each others company. The weather was beautiful!!

On the last saturday of the month was probably the first saturday that was completely free from plans in probably the last 4 or 5 months. We cleaned out the garage!! We found this hat and goggles during the cleaning. Hopefully it can stay clean for a little bit.

These two little ones are sugar and spice and also cats and dogs. They love being with one another, but then can turn on each other in an instant. I was upstairs getting ready for church and they were being pretty quiet. Which can be a good thing or a bad thing. Dad comes home and comes upstairs to get me. He said they were sitting on the front porch waiting for him to come home from a church meeting. I filmed Emmy singing nursery rhymes to Lyndin while rocking her. Then she gave her a little kiss on the head. Emmy is so sweet when she wants to be.
