For Easter this year Grandma Shelly rented a house up in Alpine for us. It was BEAUTIFUL and huge! It had probably 14 beds in it, a indoor swimming pool, an outdoor playground (like you would see at a park), a tennis court, a movie theatre, and a putting green. Kelden was able to come out for a few days with his girlfriend Sarah, and her two kids. Breann and Justin were able to come out for a couple days too. We were all together on Easter, and then they all had to head home and we stayed an extra couple days up there. It was a wonderful little stay-cation. The Easter Bunny even found us up there. It was fun to spend time with my siblings like that because I don't remember the last time were able to hang out like that.
Lyndin thinks she is big now and should feed herself. She thought she was hilarious.
Emmy played hard while we were there. She would pass out usually in the afternoon because she was so tired.
We spent a lot of the time on the tennis court and in the swimming pool. The girls hair was starting to turn green because of the chlorine in the pool. Emmy's especially since she is blond.
Easter morning wasn't as exciting as it has been. I don't think the kids were quite ready to wake up yet. But they still at least tried to look happy.
Before everyone left to go back to Vernal we went to the Aquarium. Lydnin fell asleep on the way over and I love the look of sleeping kids.
The kids had a blast at the aquarium and were darting from thing to thing.
The girls that it was awesome that they got to hold butterfly's.
Later that afternoon we went to Nana and Papa's for another Easter egg hunt. They were more awake with this one and loved having their own baskets to gather them in.
The Easter Bunny even hid a bag with treats in it for the adults. Ty's was up in the tree.
Emmy asked nana to cover her up with sand. She was giggling the whole time.
We then made it back to the house and went swimming again, and again the next day. We left on Tuesday, and it was alot of fun spending quiet time with one another. We all have commented on how nice it was to stay close, but yet we got a break from life for a minute. I'm already wondering what our next little vacation will be?
We got come and in the mail our Aunt Kimmy had sent all the kids cards in the mail with 2, 2 dollar bills in them. Surprise!!
