We started out the month with Mom going on a lunch date with her little guy. Guess where he chose? Zupas! His favorite. It was fun to sit and talk with him. He says to me so mom how has your day been? He then start talking to me about where heaven is and how he thinks it is in the clouds. Then he asks me something about Jesus makes things and he says, that's a really good question huh? He is my deep thinker and is vocabulary kills me sometimes.
He and his dad are spitting images of each other. They can fall asleep about any where and when they are tired they are tired. We were watching a movie and I look over to see that Parker had made a make shift bed with the table chairs and both of them were fast asleep. Emmy covered up dad with her blanket.
This little guy is such a sweet heart to his little sisters. He is always playing with them and sometime pestering them.
He also LOVES to help me make muffins.
Lyndin is usually game for whatever Addi has planned for her. This time was riding in a diaper box that Addi made into a ship for Lyndin.
At the beginning of March it was crazy weather. It would snow like 8 inches and then the next day it would melt because it was so warm outside. We took advantage of the warm day and everyone was out riding their bikes and throwing snow balls. Vitamin D does wonders for us.
Grandma Debbie came out for her birthday. She turned 60!! We took her to dinner and to get ice cream. She walked in and started to cry when she saw I had decorated for her. She told me that she doesn't think she has ever had birthday decorations before.
Emmy saw that Grandma was laying on the couch so she went and got blankets to cover them up.
The kids had an art show at school. We always love seeing what creations they have made.
Addi was also student of the month!! Her teacher always has great things to say about her and it is so good to hear those things.
Charlotte came over for a little bit and it was so cute to watch the girls together. Lyndin was just loving on her and then Charlotte had a turn. They both light up when they see each other.
Emmy and Lynni love bath time. They are the silliest in there. That is usually when Emmy tends to be the nicest too.
I am on the Relief Society planning committee and for our birthday party we went with the theme of the giving tree which is based off of a book. We had a local grocery store make a cupcake cake and this is what they came up with. It was almost too pretty to eat. They matched the cover of the book completely right.
On March 16th the kids didn't have school. I sent out a text to the neighbors for an impromptu donut run. Luckily another mom could go with me and we went to get donuts. They were all so exited and then they all came back to our house to play. I love that they all get along so well.
For Debbie's bday present we got her concert tickets to Bon Jovi. She came out the weekend after her bday (which is the 9th) and we went. It was a lot of fun! We love concerts though.
The next day after the concert we made a quick trip to Vernal to go to my aunt and uncle's mission farewell. We got there 3:00 Saturday afternoon and left Sunday night at 9. It was quick and furious, but we hadn't been out since Christmas and we always feel like is a good thing to support family. Grandma Cassi taught Addi how to crochet and Addi was in heaven. She has wanted to learn for a while now.
Lyndin had a rough night sleeping at Grandma Debbie and was so tired the next day. She finally gave up and went to sleep when Nan was holding her on the ground.
Emmy was pushing around Lynni in the hamper and a couple times she got pushing too fast and didn't see where she was going and ran into the wall.
This boy started soccer. I gave him a choice of playing soccer or t-ball and he chose soccer. We know nothing about soccer, but he seems to enjoy it. For him I think it is more of a social thing. He runs around with the other kids, and rarely tries to get the ball. But hey.. he is having fun so that is what matters right now anyways.
We have been doing once a week play dates with Jill and Mallory. We alternate weeks where each of us takes a turn watching the kids for a couple hours while the other two moms run errands or catch up on house work. When I had it at my house, I made play dough and they played it with for a bit and luckily it wasn't too messy.
Brother thought it would be a good idea to share an Oreo with sissy. She was messy messy.
We are finishing our basement!! And when I say we, I mean we hired someone to do it. It has been so nice to just have him come in and do everything and have him line up everyone. We will have another bedroom down there, and and office for Ty that will count as a bedroom because it has a closet and a window. We will have another full bathroom down there and then a family room. It is fun to see the transformation down there. We will have 3 bedrooms down there and one bathroom. Yay for having our house completely finished!!
And of course we have to throw in a Snap chat picture!! March was full of memories, which we love! And we have to give a little shout out to this little Emmy girl, she is potty trained!! Wahoo!!
