Lyndi your first month seemed to creep by, but yet speed by at the same time. You still are just a petite little thing (like your big sister Addi was). You are so alert with you beautiful big eyes. You love to follow voices and try to find their face of whomever is talking. You eat about every 3 hours about 3 oz. You have been my trail and error baby with formula. We had you on gentle like your other siblings, but your little tummy couldn't handle even that. You were pooping cobble stones, and would cry cry cry when you had to poop. And cry cry cry when you had to toot. We tried pear juice with miralax, a couple different type of brands of sensitive formulas and still to no avail you would cry and cry. Finally after doing some research I found a really broken down formula for you. It is not cheap ($40 a can), but your little tummy seems so much happier. So hopefully you won't have to be on this type of formula for long, or you are going to break the bank. You do not like baths, or being naked. You scream bloody murder. You also don't like getting undressed and redressed. I'm sorry that your first month was a little trial and error with everything. But don't fret most newborns first month of life is the same because we as your parents are trying to learn what makes you, you. You like the binkie for now. You also are quite the spitter, so we do lots of laundry around here.
We are lucky that you came into our family. Parker has asked us a few times how we know you are a girl, because he was dead set on you being a little brother. But he does love you I promise. He always asks where his baby lyndi is. Addi calls you Lyndin, and thinks that what everyone should call you. She loves to tell everyone about her baby. She loves to touch your skin and tell us how soft you are. Emmy gives you good night kisses, but other than that she has left you alone. Your dad and I are just happy snuggling you and letting you sleep in our arms or our chest. We love having a baby in the house. Happy 1 month of life little one!
