Addi had her first field trip. I was lucky enough to get to join. It was a lot of fun. We walked from her school down to the fire station, and then the dinosaur museum. She was looking forward to the dinosaurs all morning. She really liked the fire station and wore her hat all day yesterday and most of the day today. It was fun to see all the kids so happy and excited.
They taught the kids certain things about what to do when there is a fire. They told them that they shouldn't be scared when they see the men if they are dressed up. Lynn (that works with Ty) is a fireman and dressed up for the kids to show them he wasn't scary. He told them to give him high 5; Addi did this then stood back and looked at him and gave him a hug. None of the other kids had done that yet and when they saw her do it, they all started giving hugs. So cute!
Addi has 2 wonderful teachers. Ms. Rayma and Ms. Misti are fantastic with the kids.
Misti and Addi have a special little bond, but she loves Rayma as well.
This was funny. She walked up to this sign and started talking to it. She more or less thought it was a map and was telling me what way we needed to go.
We then had a Mother/Daughter activity.
