9 months old & first boo boo

Yes, I know it is another month down. Miss Addilynn just gets more fun every day. She is seriously into everything now. She is just go go go. She loves to get into Oscar's dog food and eat it. She loves anything has to deal with paper, and eats that too. She would rather play with a plastic spoon or movie box then play with her toys. She loves books and gets so excited to read them. She is starting to be a Mama's girl. But she still loves everyone and anyone. She has learned how to clap her hands and when she sees us doing it, she'll do it. She is always doing something new with her mouth. She now can click her tongue and so she'll just crawl around clicking her tongue. It is pretty cute. She does really well with finger foods and has learned how to pick them up. She loves table food too. She eats whatever we have (most of the time). She wants to walk soo bad, but she is still pretty wobbly. Babies and little kids she just can't get enough of. She'll even see a picture of a baby and just start going ahh ahh and reaching for it. Her new word she says all that time is baabaabaa. I try and get her to say mama, but it just comes out baabaa. She is my little helper for everything. I love having a little side kick most of the time except when I'm trying to cook and she is wanting to pull herself up on my leg. She doesn't have a pacifier anymore and it has been so wonderful! She weighs about 18.9 and that is about average, and she 30 inches tall. She is off the charts for the height. Who knows where that came from?

The other night she got her first boo boo. Ty and I went to the temple and Addi stayed with Grandma Debbie. When we got back Addi was crying and Debbie just looked at us and said that something had happened. We said what? Then she told us that Addi tried to stand up on the fireplace while it was on. Debbie said she was just a step too late. It burned Addi's palm and it blistered. So we put some Aloe on it that had Liedicane in it then wrapped it up. She wanted to just chew on the wrap so we had to put a little mitten over it. She seems to be doing fine and we are just hoping that it heals quickly and doesn't get an infection. It is so hard being a parent and not being able to protect them from everything. Its not fun seeing your baby hurt. But we are just glad that it wasn't worse than it was. We love you Sissy :) And we are so lucky to have such a happy little baby like you in our lives.
