September

There was something about September that made it seem we had a little bit more breathing room. I think starting school and having a routine definitely has helped.

Labor Day weekend always means Massey reunion. The kids were actually really excited to go because we have gone the past couple years. This year we only spent Saturday up there. We did the fishing pond, piñata, and the auction. The auction turned into the kids helping Ty. Everyone left with lots of smiles.

They had a read party at school. I got this picture from Emmy's teacher. This is here with Payton.

Addi helped build a typewriter for Grandma Shelly out of legos. Took her about half a day. It was over 2,000 pieces.

Meeting another author, Tricia Levenseller

A beautiful Sunday evening playing pickle ball.

Our Tuesday and Thursday nights were filled with watching volleyball for the month of September. Addi played an away game and in the varsity game she had 6 kills. Her coaches picked her as queen of the court. Quite the honor to receive that! Especially as a freshman!

The high school volleyball instagram page posted her and so did the jr high page!

She also had her time posted for the top mile run for her class.

Watching Parker play flag football was SO much fun! I wish he had been playing it longer than just this year. He learned so much! He wasn't too sure that he was going to like it, but he did end up liking it. He still says he likes basketball better.

Had to celebrate National Hamburger day!

The Young Women came to support Addi at one of her games for their activity. It was so fun to have them there.

One of the players dad takes great photos of games! Addi and Kennedy (a volleyball teammate) won their bracket in pickle ball.

The 2 youngest had their primary program on Sept. 24. The primary program always brings such a special spirit. I always end up crying.

Parker's team made it to the league's championship game in football. They ended up winning!!! It was a super fun game!

More volleyball photos.

The fun run at school! Emmy made it around the field 7 times! Lyndin made it around 4 times!

We went out to Vernal on the 29th to celebrate Grandpa Larry's 66th birthday! We are making it a bigger point to make these memories with grandpa because we don't know how long his memory will last. It is crazy to see how much he has declined in just a year. He is still happy and healthy otherwise. We had pizza and some cake and ice cream. The girls got some nasty mosquito bites and so grandpa helped put some anti itch cream on them.
