My last baby is now a one year old. I will admit I will a little melancholy about her turning one. We are officially out of the little baby stage. Even though she is still tiny.
Lyndin Jane,
You bring so much joy into our family. Everyone loves to try and make you smile and you do give them out so easily. You are very bashful around new people, but you still give out smiles after a minute. You are really starting to babble and have even said the golden word, MAMA!! I am writing this as you are now almost 2 weeks past your birthday and you have had all 4 top teeth come in and you have been so miserable. You still try to smile, but it doesn't quite light up the same. You are so afraid to walk. We will try and get you to walk with even holding your hands and you will take two steps and then sit down. You have figured out how to point and you also say ohhh when you point. You are starting to really explore the house and I have caught you in a couple of mess making. You light up with Addi comes home and also your dad. Some of your favorite foods are string cheese, cheese puffs, apples, popcorn, anything that we are eating, and squeeze pouch baby food. We all are so happy you are the baby of the family. This is the last time this shirt will be worn by our girls. I got it when Addi turned one and now it will be passed on.
At your one year check up you weighed 19 lbs (39% percentile) and your height was 28.25 inches (19%). I finally switched you to 12 month clothes and they are still a tad big on you.
We had a really low key day on your bday because we were going to do have a combined family party that weekend for you and Addi. Grandma Shelly got you a little motorcycle and everyone loved pushing you around on it. She also got some clothes and gave them a squeeze.
We gave you a little cupcake and you wanted to grab the candle when it was lite. You didn't really care for the cupcake but you did give it a try. You are just like your older siblings and didn't care for the cake. You LOVED getting sang to. You smiled SO big.
Lyndin Jane love you!!
