1 year later

Here were are 1 year later. Parker's birthday happens to be today as well. The past couple days I have been thinking how fast that year seemed to fly by. One year ago I was in the hospital waiting to have this little guy. The year he has been here has been an absolute joy. He is such a good little boy.

Parker LOVES to be outside. He knows that word and when I say it, he bee lines it for the door.
He is starting to point to things.
He loves to play with his blanket.
He is a little explorer. Any house we go to he always gets into the cupboards and pulls things out. Ours included.
He adores his sister, but he is starting to know how to really pester her as well.
He sleeps/naps really well.
He loves to say mama and dada. He actually used mama in the right way the other day. I was walking away from him and he starts crying and said mama!
He is starting to be a copy cat. He fake coughs, laughs, and tries to copy your tones.
He loves to push things around on the floor. Like cars, dvd cases, or bowls.
He doesn't like to be snuggled anymore, but he does like to sit on your lap for a minute when he is in the mood.
He is not walking, he is running. He loves to try to catch up to you or play chase.
He still is my eating machine. The other day he had 2 full pancakes and some banana.
He is a people watcher. He observes everyone.
He is shy for just a minute, but they warms right up.
He loves our slide outside. He knows how to climb up the latter, and go down the slide all by his self.

1 year ago. 

Makes me tear up just seeing how much he has changed.
