I went to dinner with a couple of my high school friends this month. Kaylen said that she had a picture of Ty of when he was in high school in her families scrap book because he taught swim lessons to her sister. She sent me this picture and we all had a giggle. I don't see many pictures of ty around this age. He really was quite the swimmer.
We traveled up to Idaho the first of the month for a volleyball tournament. It really does take it out of you to sit in a loud gym all day. This venue was especially hard because the seating was awful. The girls played well though.
Emmy is my one that is always noticing the beautiful sunsets. She always wants to take pictures of them. I love when she pauses and takes the look around to enjoy the beauty around us.
Grown up and donuts at elementary school!
We took another girls trip down to Vegas for another tournament. Addi didn't get to have Bucca's with us so we introduced her to it. She was a fan as well.
Her and I also went on a mother daughter date with a few other girls on the team to Din-Ti Fung which is an upscale Chinese restaurant. The girls had a lot of fun together.
The little girls are great at trying to entertain themselves. This time they were entertaining themselves on the huge escalator. We also had to get late night gelato at our hotel.
We also love to get ton-hulu (have no idea how to spell it) It is sugar harden fruit. It is one of our favorite things to get while in Vegas.
We found a new shopping area and they had a really cute courtyard where we could play on the turf. They had some hula hoops out and we took advantage of playing with them. Emmy was great at the multiple hula hoops.
We did make it out to vernal for a missionary farewell and we got to spend some time with some of our favorite cousins. Our time in Vernal definitely doesn't ever feel long enough.
Late night track meets. Good thing they have nana and grandpa to help snuggle them. Addi qualified for state in her 3 events at this meet. It was her first qualifying meet she competed in and qualified with all the top marks and times.
This was at UVU and she had quite the cheering squad going on.
We celebrated Easter a week early at nana and grandpa's. The kids still love to find all the easter eggs.
We had 4 days straight of school plays for 3 out of 4 kids. Parker was stage props manager for his school play and he totally rocked it. Emmy and Lyndin preformed the Jungle Book. Emmy shared a main role of Shanti, and Lyndin was a monkey. We had lots of support from family with both plays and it is fun to see the kids be involved in their school. It was also fun to see Emmy and Lyn preform together. Emmy made a great bush when she wasn't Shanti.
We also love our FaceTime calls with our crew in Vernal.
