Disneyland 2024

 Our Christmas came early! We went to Disneyland! We flew out on Dec. 20 and came home on Christmas Eve. We told the kids Thursday night. The other surprise was the Grandmas Shelly came with us. We were all needing a little break and we also don't "need" anything for Christmas. We love making memories and we love making memories at Disneyland. 

Flying out of Provo was wonderful! 

We all were ready to get going and we kept going until we were tired. Lots of walking and lots of getting snacks. We loved the snacks this time! 

This picture is a must. I have a picture of them at all different ages by this door by Monster Inc ride. 

Lyn and I did Spider man while everyone else did Guardians of the Galaxy. 

We did not have the fast pass. Most of the time it didn't matter and we got on most rides even though it was super busy. We did decide to wait in Radiator Springs. We waited 2 hours.... it was long but the kids handled it pretty well. 

One of Addi's musts was the drawing class. Only the 4 of us did it. I think our pigs turned out great. 

Another thing that was a must was riding Tiana's bayou (splash mountain) we got in line and it shut down. We knew it would open but didn't know when. We all took turns waiting in line while others went and did other things. We did end up getting on and it was lots of fun. Parker got the wettest! But we all got a little wet. 

We love when it is decorated for Christmas. 

Dance parties are the funnest as well! 

We waited a 2 times for rise of the resistance. Sadly we never did get on. When I took this picture is was already 11:00 at night. But Parker wasn't too upset because he built a lightsaber and was in heaven. Ty has those pictures on his phone. Parker still talks about that experience. 

On Christmas Eve our flight didn't leave until the evening and so we did some shopping in Downtown District and had some lunch. It was a great way to spend the day because it was raining and we didn't have to deal with the rain much. It is fun to see the kids be older and can go do things on their own. You can see the 3 kids walking around (in blue). 

We landed back in Provo at 8:30pm and were back home by 9:00 pm just in time to get pajamas on and get ready for Santa. It was a great trip!
