Christmas was as special this year as it has been in the past. Addi caught on to what Santa was all about. We set out cookies for him and that is what she woke up to worrying about; if he had ate them. She was pleased to see that he had eaten all but 1. They were surprised to see their presents, and thought it was pretty cool. He brought them a power wheels truck. Too bad it is too cold to use it now, but I'm sure they will get good use of it in the summer.
Addi told us Christmas Eve that she was going to hear Santa's jingle bells on the roof where his sleigh and the reindeer were. I think she was a little scared of that idea because it took her a long time to fall asleep. Santa must just be extra quiet when he knows that we are asleep because we didn't hear his jingle bells.
Parker loved all the commotion. He loved seeing what Addi got in her presents, and he loved climbing in and out of the truck. He didn't quite get the whole opening presents idea.
Mom got a new Dyson vacuum, bed sheets, and turbo fire workout dvds, and dad got a watch winder, work folder to hold his ipad, and some new work clothes.
It was a great day and it was so nice to be able to spend it with family
